Barry B. Cepelewicz, M.D. is a member of the firm's Health Care Group. Dr. Cepelewicz's practice focuses on assisting physician practices and other health care providers with respect to corporate matters, third party payor audits, employment and labor issues, professional liability training, licensure and disciplinary investigations, fraud and abuse and antitrust issues. He also represents health care providers, as plaintiffs and defendants, in all stages of civil litigation; and advises clients, including many start-up companies, on the use of e-commerce and telemedicine in the provision of health care services. He received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from New York University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and subsequently received his M.D. degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and his J.D. degree at New York University School of Law.
